Guy Cecil is the Chairman of Priorities USA Action, the largest Democratic party super PAC that is “fighting to mobilize and persuade every American possible on the important issues that affect their lives, and building a state-of-the-art research, digital, and communications infrastructure to do it.” Priorities was founded in 2011 by former Obama campaign officials Bill Burton and Sean Sweeney to reelect him in 2012, and supported Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election cycle.
Cecil joined Priorities in 2015, serving as the chief strategist of Priorities the 2016 election cycle. He also served as the political director and executive director of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. Previously, he was the field director for Clinton’s 2008 presidential bid.
